The role of gratitude in manifesting

Introduction

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a book called The Science of Getting Rich. It was one of first book that shared how to use positive thinking and belief to create what you want in life. This was not just about visualizing and thinking about things, but also about having gratitude for what you already have.

What is manifesting?

The word manifesting has a lot of different meanings, but essentially it means creating something you want in your life.

For example, if you wanted to manifest an amazing job, you could begin by thinking about what kind of job would fulfill all of your criteria. You might then draft out some basic requirements for this ideal position and start applying for jobs that match those requirements. This process is called manifesting because it’s actually bringing into physical form something that was previously only imagined or dreamed about.

Why manifest?

One of the most important reasons for manifesting is that it helps you create your own reality. Need a new car? Manifest it! Want to travel around the world? Manifest it! In short, manifesting creates your destiny in life and gives you control over what happens next.

Manifesting also helps you achieve your goals, dreams and purpose by helping you focus on what matters most in life so that there's no room for any other distractions or obstacles on the way towards success.

Finally, manifesting can help create abundance in all areas of life — relationships, career goals and personal interests among others.

How to manifest something you want.

  • Listen to your intuition. Your gut feeling will tell you if something feels right or not.

  • Be clear about what you want. If there’s any doubt in your mind, the universe won’t know how to help you achieve it (and it might even send conflicting messages).

  • Be grateful for what you have now—it can help build momentum for manifesting!

  • Visualize what it would be like when your goal is realized. This gives life and energy to that goal, making it more likely to come true in the future.

  • Ask for help from the universe: write down what you want and put it into a box or jar; take out one slip of paper at a time to read aloud; watch as these wishes become real before your eyes…don't forget to ask "how" each time so that they may come true!

The role of gratitude in manifesting.

Gratitude is a key to manifesting. When you focus on what you're grateful for, it helps you see the good in your life and in other people, yourself, and even your dreams.

When focusing on gratitude, it's important to remember that every situation has both good and bad aspects. Focusing on only the bad will keep things from changing and making them worse—and if they get worse enough, then focusing on gratitude won't help much because there won't be anything left worth being grateful for! You may have been able to change something before it got so bad that nothing could fix it anymore... but now there's no way out of this situation without making some changes along with finding some way to make peace with what happened (or what continues happening).

The next time something goes wrong in your life—whether big or small—think about appreciating everything else that went right instead of focusing solely on what didn't work out as planned. The more we appreciate our blessings today, tomorrow will bring even more abundance into our lives!

You can create your dreams.

You can create your dreams.

You have the power of thought, the power of words, and the power of gratitude. You also have the power to act on what you feel grateful for in order to create more of it in your life. If you’re grateful for something, then it’s worth making a choice about how you want to use that energy. What do YOU want? It’s up to you!
